Likely you have either a corrupt print job or a corrupt print driver/wrong driver. You need to disconnect the printer first to stop wasting paper. Then follow the instructions here if you are using a Windows 10 machine.
Once you have purged the print spooler, delete the printer and try reinstalling it. This behaviour can also be caused by a bad usb cable if that is how you are connecting.
