Hi @croatiasun_49,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When your Officejet 7500 E printer displays a "no paper" error despite having paper in the tray, it's generally indicative of a communication issue between the paper tray/sensors and the printer's control system. Here are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve this issue:

Check Paper Tray and Paper:

  • Ensure the paper is loaded correctly in the tray. The stack should be neat, without bent or curled edges, and the guides should lightly touch the sides of the paper without compressing it.
  • Verify that you're using the correct paper size and type for your printer and that it's within the printer's specifications.

Clean the Paper Feed Rollers:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the access door to the paper feed rollers. Consult your printer's manual for exact location.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water to gently clean the rollers. Avoid using alcohol or other solvents.
  • Allow the rollers to dry completely before closing the access door, plugging the printer back in, and turning it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Even a small piece of paper stuck inside the printer can cause this issue. Open all doors and access panels to check for jammed paper. Remove any found, being careful not to tear it.

Adjust Paper Settings:

  • Ensure the paper size and type settings on the printer’s control panel or in the printer software on your computer match the paper loaded in the tray.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds. Plug it back in and reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn the printer back on. This can help to reset any error states in the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

Inspect the Paper Sensors:

  • If comfortable, locate the paper sensors (usually found in the paper path or near the tray) and gently clean them. Be cautious as these are delicate components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
