Hi @tsay
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy 5560 is showing a "Printer tray blocked" error, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer and check for any jammed paper in the input and output trays. Remove any stuck paper carefully.
2. Remove and Reinsert the Paper Tray:
- Pull out the paper tray and check for any obstructions or misalignment. Clean any dust or debris and then reinsert the tray firmly.
3. Check Paper Alignment:
- Ensure the paper is loaded correctly in the tray, with the guides adjusted to fit the paper size. Misaligned paper can cause blockage errors.
4. Inspect the Rollers:
- Check the rollers for any debris or wear. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth. If they’re worn out, you may need to replace them.
5. Reset the Printer:
- Power off the printer and unplug it for about a minute. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear error messages.
6. Update Printer Firmware:
- Check for any firmware updates on the HP Support website. Updating the firmware can resolve various issues.
7. Check for Foreign Objects:
- Look inside the printer for any foreign objects that might be obstructing the tray, such as small pieces of paper or other debris.
8. Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, which can help diagnose and resolve printing issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
