Deskjet 2755
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We've had our Deskjet 2755 for a while now and have had zero issues. Suddenly today it won't recognize Letter Plain Paper. It keeps detecting it as 5x7 Glossy. Plain Letter is still applied to the printer. The slider on the printer is out to Letter. I tried all the cleaning and alignment tools in HP Smart and nothing works. HP Print and Scan Doctor did nothing to help either. Test and Diagnostic pages won't print since the printer isn't recognizing the right size paper. I've reset the printer by unplugging the power cable multiple times. Any help would be wonderful.

Are you able to copy?

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Sorry about the delayed response. My printer's firmware is up to date. I cannot copy due to the printer not recognizing the right paper size.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

If the issue still persists, I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
