I need to be able to print on A4 cardstock up to 270gms (100lb).  My current HP ENVY 4524 does not support this.

Does anyone use an HP printer with this weight of card.

None for personal-home use, only professional and industrial printers can handle such heavy media.

generally, this type of consumer printers supports 163 to 200 gsm card media, not any such thicker media.

For such an heavier card media indeed any such printer level would not be applicable.
