Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I print on  9X12 paper with MFP M281fdw? That is the size of most sheets of music. I see a setting for Custom Size in the printer settings and didn't know if the system could handle the extra 1/2".

Sorry, no - printer cannot print on the wider paper.

You can set the "length" (custom size) - the printer hardware cannot print wider than 8.5 inches.

I suppose if you were desperate and could not (or do not wish to) use "shrink to fit"

You could print landscape:  Split each page of music onto two sheets of paper and then tape together.

You are welcome.

Taping music sheets together sounds silly - and is extra work.

That said, if you need the music at a readable size, it's rather a good idea.  Smiling.

You can also make the music larger (might as well, since it won't fit on one paper anyway)...

An example - Adobe Reader DC  - PDF - Multi-sheetsPDF_Document_Poster_1PDF_Document_Poster_1

OR.. make the music smaller and print it in Booklet format...

Booklet_Print_9025_PDF_2Booklet_Print_9025_PDF_2

Stay Safe!

Happy 2021 - Hoping for a better new year for all!
