My HP Envy 5661 had a jam; I cannot reassemble the print tray.  I need a demonstration of illustration of how to fit the thing back together.

Hi @j2bean,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are the general steps you can follow to reassemble the print tray on an HP 5661 printer.

  • Locate the print tray and any parts that need to be reassembled.
  • Make sure the printer is turned off and unplugged.
  • Align the print tray with the slot in the printer and gently push it into place until you hear a click.
  • If the print tray has an extender, attach it to the end of the tray by sliding it into place until it clicks.
  • If the print tray has an output tray, attach it to the front of the tray by sliding it into place until it clicks.
  • If the print tray has a photo tray, attach it to the top of the tray by sliding it into place until it clicks.
  • Turn on the printer and try printing a test page to make sure everything is working properly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
