HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer

I have tried following the hard reset instructions I've seen posted on here, but after I plug my printer back in and power it up, it immediately goes to the blue error screens with the 00829C98 error, so I can't get to the settings or anything else. My printer is two years old and no longer under warranty, but I am hoping I can get some additional instruction here. Thanks.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting a 00829C98  error on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
