Repair Broken Hinges on HP 6310

The hinges on my HP 6310 All in One are broken.  If I put 3 heavy books on top it works keeping the lid close enough to use.  Can I replace the hinges??

You can get replacement hinges on eBay, it's tricky to replace them, the left hinge has cables for the document feeder going through those cables can easily break.

YOu will have to search on google, YT. I can only remember it's pretty complicated and tricky.
