HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My CM1415 does not feed envelopes without jamming (but prints paper fine). I've cleaned the rollers. I would like to replace the pickup roller, which looks worn. I cannot get the printer to go into "Secondary Service" mode to be able to rotate and remove the roller. From the main menu, I have tried tapping "setup" followed by <left navigation arrow> and <cancel> (or lower right side) in rapid succession. When I go back to the setup menu, I still don't get the secondary service in the menu listings.  Please advise how to get the secondary service option in order to rotate the pickup roller, so I can remove and replace it. Thank you!

According to instructions I am looking at you go to setup and then press and hold the left arrow and then press the cancel and then release both at the same time.

Hi - I've tried that repeatedly, but with no luck. Are you aware of any overrides or other options? Thanks

I am not aware of any alternate methods. I have at times struggled to get this and similar models in to the correct mode.

Hard to get it wrong, but sometimes restarting first and then trying directly to enter works
