Does Anyone Know What this might be? It's a small transparent rubber piece about an inch in length that was jammed in far left wheel.
I've removed it gently however print quality is particularly poor. Not sure what the rubber piece is or what it's been detached from? Any help appreciated .....

That does not look like any part of a printer to me. Looks more like someone dropped something like double sided tape into the printer it appears sticky as there is hair visible in it. I would look around inside closely, perhaps there is more in there blocking the print head or there is sticky residue on the roller that is transferring to the paper resulting in the print defect.

Thanks for your reply/view on it. Yeah it's had my head in a spin as only myself has accessed the inside of the printer, and only to change the cartridges. I'd not have been careless to drop something in there as wouldn't be holding anything in my hand while doing the change. It's bizarre as it's folded somewhat and in terms of texture is like a 50p piece sized thin rubber suction pad. The stickiness has gone but yeah I know what you mean re hairs as it's visible when you zoom into it.
I agree with you it certainly doesn't look like a printer part and hopefully that's the case.
It may well be just coincidence that the print quality is poor all of a sudden and wasn't weeks back, but am getting a fresh black ink cartridge to just rule that out. Hopefully I get to the bottom now of what's causing the poor prints
