I had a paper jam in my HP OfficeJet 4650 so I attempted to clear the paper out and lifted the paper path access door and disconnected the rubber rollers and duplexer and cannot get them to snap back into place properly.

Hi @dprimmer,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing some trouble reassembling the rubber rollers and duplexer in your HP Officejet 4650 after clearing a paper jam. Here are some steps you can follow to try and get them back into place properly.
- Inspect for Damage: Before proceeding, check the rubber rollers and duplexer for any signs of damage or misalignment. If any components appear to be damaged, you may need to replace them.
- Orientation Check: Ensure that you're reattaching the rubber rollers and duplexer in the correct orientation. They should align with their corresponding slots or connectors inside the printer.
- Gentle Reassembly: When reattaching the rubber rollers and duplexer, handle them gently to avoid causing any further damage. Make sure they're lined up properly before attempting to snap them back into place.
- Firm but Gentle Pressure: Apply firm but gentle pressure when attempting to snap the components back into place. Avoid using excessive force, as this could damage the printer further.
- Double-Check Connections: After reassembly, double-check to ensure that the rubber rollers and duplexer are securely attached and properly aligned. Test the printer to see if it operates correctly without any errors or issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
