Says "Add Paper" but tray is loaded

Yesterday I tried to print on legal (8-1/2" x14"). It never did print that. Now, when I try to go back to printing letter size, the printer says to add legal size paper. I can print nothing. I have turned the printer off and on, even left it unplugged overnight.

Reload the paper you want to use in the tray you are using for the current job.

Immediately check the printer control panel for a message to adjust / modify the paper size / type.

OR

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check / adjust the paper size & type settings - Tray and Paper

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

The example shows a 9025 printer that includes a second tray --  Your printer will be different from the example.
