HP DeskJet 2720e All-in-One Printer

Have just set up a brand new printer yesterday and it just keeps showing E4 I have tried everything I have found online, even reset nothing works and it has not had any paper in it. Help please before I give up and return it, will be very grateful for any advice thank you

Thank you for your reply sadly none of the stages has worked. However I received a replacement tonight. And I will be setting that up tomorrow and hopefully this one will work. I will update afterwards.

I‘ve exactly the same problem. Am I right if I guess your solution was a new printer? So there is no one who can fix this problem?

I tried everything including the advice above. I could not get it to work. So yes I returned for a replacement and the new printer words as it should. I have been able to link my chrome book, phone with it. That didn't work on the first one. I have printed well over 100 pages and not had any problems. So if you have a new printer I would suggest that you return and get a replacement.

The only other thing you can try is follow the link that the HP posted further up in the chat. It didn't work for me but it might work for you.
