HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been having problems with paper jamming. Today I looked around inside turned upside down- and a small black piece fell out. The tip of the piece had broken off. Probably3-4 inches long, less than inch wide. Had slit in the middle.  My question is can the printer be repaired somewhere?? I have about 75 dollars in ink for this printer- Hate to lose it if I can repair it.

Please advise.

Can you post pictures of the part and where you think it goes. Unfortunately many parts for this printer are not available. Depending on the break, you might be able to epoxy or find someone with a non-working printer to salvage the part from.

Here is the piece that was loose inside the printer> When I lifted the pat in back to unjam the paper, this fell out. I do nto know the actual place it was. Could not find anything in manual to help.
