Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The paper feed rollers on my HP 6978 Office Jet printer will not drop and make contact with the paper stack in the paper tray, thus will not feed paper in. All the rollers have been cleaned but the mechanism that makes the two roller feeder will not drop and make cointact with the paper stack. Printer has been "reset" several times.
