Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The printer doesn't print. The carriage doesn't seem to move,however when i pull the plug and put it back in ,the carraige does move. It also does not go off with the regular off button. It has to be unplugged.

This seems like a hardware issue with the printer. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays

 

Also, check for any paper jams inside the printer - A 'Paper Jam' Message Displays for HP Officejet 4400 (K410), Deskjet Ink Advantage (K209), and Deskj...

 

Re-insert the ink cartridges and try printing. 

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
