Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The Tray 1 of my printer is only a kind of slot to manually insert a single sheet of paper.
Doing this, after the sheet is about a third of it inside the slot the printer mechanism takes the sheet and feeds it into the printer till about 90% and the printer is then waiting for the printing order to definitively feed to print.
But the latter doesn’t happen. The printer feeds instead a sheet from tray 2 for the printout.
When I bought the printer, this behavior wasn’t present. It began later.

What happens if you set the printer driver to take paper from tray 1?
