"Paper not showing up" might be the result of the printer not being aware of the paper size / type.
Reminder: HP smart Mobile requires that the paper size / type be selected before the content is opened to be printed.
Without knowing the Operating System / version or the software / application you are using,
I suggest you unload-load the paper in the printer > Modify / Edit / Check the Tray and Paper settings
