OK -- In general, your printer might do that.

In practice, how (if) you can print this way depends on several factors:

  • Does the printer support the paper weight??  This detail is critical - some printers will support "HP Card" Paper to 200 gsm -- other printers, "not-so-much".
  • Does the printer support the paper size (and type), at least as a Custom Paper Size Form?
  • Do you have a way to create the necessary document / content for the job?
  • NOTE:  Document type concern means not "any" document will do -- if your paper is already half size and you are creating a folded card from that paper size, there might be issues with limited print space, supported margins and gutter space (the binding edge in a book) when using "Booklet".  Some printers are less able to cope with small paper and tight margins than other printers.  The content generally dictates the "fit".
  • Do you have an application or software program that can interact with the printer to configure the job, including, if needed, that Custom Paper Size Form.
  • Important for Duplex >> Do you have a printer that will print 2-sided automatically?  Many printers do that much but might not print this paper size in duplex.
  • The Printer must be made aware of the paper size / type -- this is generally available using the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for Tray and Paper and / or -- depending on the printer model -- using the Touchscreen Printer Control Panel.

See the printer Specifications help determine the paper sizes and types supported.

See the driver (printer software) to see whether / how the paper size will be handled (standard size or Custom).

See the printer's user manual to see how to load paper.

See the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to adjust Tray and Paper.
