HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

When switching from single sided to duplex printing, the margins change and go to the original default and not the custom margins that I have set. I have been using the same excel spreadsheet for years printing on both sides of the page without any issues until a few weeks ago. To my knowledge, nothing has changed on the computer or printer that might cause the problem.

I am using an HP OfficeJet Pro 8720. My operating system is Windows 11 and it is up to date.

I have used the HP Print and Scan Doctor to insure all drivers are up to date and no issues were found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, JB

@JB2K, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that the margins change while printing on both sides. Do you use the HP Smart app to print or do you directly print from Excel?

Keep me posted.
