Hello,
When i removed my lower tray there was a white lip laying underneath.
I can't see where it came off.
Would be great if someone could point me te the correct location.

Looks like a paper guide. The round end would go over a shaft inside the printer. I do not have a 7740 in front of me so I cannot give you direct instructions. Look for similar parts in the paper path and likely you will find them miss spaced and it would go where it would balance the touch points on the paper.
