First there is a carriage jam where the carriage is stuck all the way to the right. I can manually moved the gears with my fingers but the carriage still won't budge. Then, after trouble shooting everything I could find on line, now two of the print cartridges have popped out and will not go back in and stay inserted, so that adds an extra issue to this whole mess. Any suggestions??? This printer is just a few months past the one year warranty and already it doesn't work. Very disappointed in hp.

I tried all the things in the link you sent and none of them fixed the problem. There is no paper jam and I tried unplugging, resetting, etc. to no avail. I tried manually moving the gears but that does nothing. My printer is just past the warranty so I am unable to get help from the tech support.
Any other options?
