Deskjet 4729 does not print fully on A4 sheet, instead prints only 4x6 inch size. Both laptop and android phone same issue. Did all steps mentioned in HP printers - Paper Mismatch error (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support but still same issue persists.

Hi @Sanjeevee,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the printer settings or possibly the paper size detection mechanism. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Check Printer Settings: Make sure the paper size settings in both the printer's control panel and the print settings on your computer or Android phone are set to A4.
- Paper Tray Adjustments: Ensure that the paper guides in the paper tray are adjusted properly to accommodate A4 paper. Sometimes, if they are set for smaller paper sizes, it can cause the printer to only print on the available portion of the paper.
- Printer Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Deskjet 4729 printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve various printing issues.
- Clean Paper Feed Rollers: Dust or debris on the paper feed rollers can also cause paper misfeeds or printing issues. Clean the rollers according to the printer's manual instructions.
- Reset Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory default settings. This can often resolve software-related issues that may be causing the problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
