Hi........First....I LOVE my printer and so hope I can find a way to fix it.   I had a few paper jams and then " Carriage Jam" came on.  But when you open the top , the carriage goes freely . But with the top closed, it starts and gets stuck on the left. I have checked everywhere  ( really everywhere) inside the printer for a piece of paper that would stop it, but nothing. I have done the hardset and nothing. Everything else on the printer works fine.  I read somewhere that there is an advanced hard set..would anyone know it that would help?? AND,,,,I've been printing the last two weeks with the same ink cartrigages and now it's saying it's not an authentic cartridge, ( which it is). Any ideas???

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with the carriage jam.

If you have already performed the steps from the document and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
