Product: HP DeskJet 2722

my printer is on a repeating cycle. once I change the ink cartridges the computer resets the printing que to redo everything!!! this puts the printer in a position where it will never stop printing the same thing but it will always run out of ink trying. I need to know how to cancel the print que manually and stop its cycle. I have an HP DeskJet 2722 printer.
