I have an HP 8025 pro jet printer I bought two weeks ago. Set up was fine, scanned and printed fine. Today I replaced paper and the tray will not slide back in properly. It will not align with the grey cover piece, and stops just short of closing fully, resulting in an error message. I have tried dozens of timed, including removing both pieces completely. I am utterly frustrated that such a simple action has proven to be so difficult, and would be grateful if someone has a solution or a video to resolve this. I am currently not able to use the printer due to this.

@Jerdog, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Use this link for video reference- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxPoA_E1NOE( the video shows how to clear paper jam however, it also has steps on how to remove and reinstall the paper tray )
Look for any broken pieces on the tray or inside the printer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
