hp envy 6000 jams continuously

my hp envy 6000 jams bascially every time i print.   i am not sure what the problem is - it is sitting in a drawer and i have worked to make sure the drawer is level and used brand new paper of two different weights but i AM HAVING no success. any advice? 

 

i also dont see how to upgrade the firmware via the HP iphone app which has been suggrsted as a solution. any ideas on where the advanced options are in the app?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, 

 

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, and in order to fix this issue,  your printer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,

 

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your Printer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
