Chrome OS

It is strange , I am trying to print onto my HP Photosmart c7280 printer.  I have recently set up all of my families 4 Chromebooks to the printer and it was working fine.  I changed the ink cartridges last week, and now when I go to print from any of the Chromebooks, I cannot print onto letter size paper....only photo size.  Whats worse is all the advise online says to go to the printer settings and change things.....but on my Chromebook there really aren't any advance settings.  I have also tried to reset the printer to the original manufacturers settings......I've tried powering down.....holding #3.....and also #6. My other laptop is dead....I feel this one I would have had more printer settings.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE OF GREAT HELP!!
THANK YOU!
