Hp 7600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The printer was off for about a week because  it was low on Magenta.

We had no software or driver changes.

Our internet connect is wireless.

Re: hp7600 print carriage wont move. there are No paper jambs. left side is showing "o" magenta ink in cartridge.

I AM ALSO SEEING, what i believe is the real problem... The print cartridge wants to move from the right to the left. I can see this happening over and over again. The carriage only moves 1/4" and once again a message appears that I am out of magenta ink. I BELIEVE that the magenta or cyan cartridge is not seated correctly (ever so slightly) in the printer carriage, preventing the carriage movemen. Is it possible for this to happen? Have you ever run across this before? Can this be fixed? Is there a tech link that will show me how to disassemble the printer so that i can see if my guess is correct, then remove the cartridges and start all over installing the cartridges?
