ink cartidge carrier jam with paper jam message indicated

I have a "Paper Jam" message but there is no paper in the feed, rollers or duplexer. I cleared the message and the printer tried to feed a sheet of paper but the ink cartridge carrier appears to be jammed to the right side. I tried to manually move the carrier to the middle but it seems to be stopped by a mechanical-like stop. Is there a way to release this stop or disassemble the cover to see if there is something else that is stopping the carrier?

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
