Is your print from computer normal? If yes then you still have dirt or debris on the scanning glass. If you have an automatic document feeder most the them have a separate strip of glass that is used when scanning from the ADF. If printing a document from the computer has smears then you have debris stuck to the printhead assembly or leaking ink.

- Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
- Does the copy print out the same way?
- What's the application you are trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
