Hi @Jayne21

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

May i know if you are able to print or make copies?

Do yiu also get any error message.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e is making a grinding noise, it could indicate a few possible issues. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open all access panels and check for any paper jams or obstructions. Even a small piece of paper can cause grinding noises.

Inspect Cartridges:

  • Remove the ink cartridges and check for any obstructions in the carriage area. Ensure the cartridges are properly seated when you reinstall them.

Look for Foreign Objects:

  • Check for any foreign objects (like paper clips, debris, or labels) that may have fallen into the printer. Carefully remove anything you find.

Check the Printhead:

  • Make sure the printhead is free to move and isn’t obstructed. If it appears to be stuck, gently move it to ensure it can glide along its path.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it, and wait for about a minute. Then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset any internal errors.

Listen for Noise Location:

  • If possible, try to identify where the noise is coming from. If it’s coming from the printhead area, it may indicate a mechanical issue.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
