Hi @Elen18,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're dealing with a paper jam in your printer that you can’t easily access, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Turn Off the Printer

  • Power off the printer and unplug it to ensure safety while you work on it.

2. Check All Access Panels

  • Open any access panels, such as the rear cover or front door, to see if you can reach the jammed paper from another angle.

3. Use a Flashlight

  • Shine a flashlight into the printer to get a better view of where the jammed paper is located.

4. Remove Any Loose Paper

  • If there are any pieces of paper or torn scraps inside, remove those first. These can prevent the printer from functioning correctly.

5. Gently Pull the Jammed Paper

  • If you can see the paper, gently try to pull it out. Always pull in the direction of the paper path to avoid damaging the printer.

6. Use Tweezers or Pliers

  • If the paper is deep inside and you can't reach it with your fingers, use a pair of tweezers or needle-nose pliers to carefully grab and pull the paper out.

7. Check for Any Rollers

  • Sometimes, paper can get stuck in the rollers. Look for any rollers that may have paper wrapped around them and gently remove any obstructions.

8. Run a Cleaning Cycle

  • After removing the paper, run a cleaning cycle from the printer's control panel (if available) to ensure everything is functioning properly.

9. Reassemble and Test

  • Once you’ve removed the paper, close all panels, plug in the printer, and turn it on. Test it by printing a document.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
