Hi @michelle071,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "E4" error on your HP DeskJet 2632 All-In-One Printer indicates a paper jam. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Turn off the printer:

  • Make sure the printer is turned off to avoid any injury or damage.

Clear the paper jam:

  • Open the access door to the paper path. You may need to consult your printer manual for specific instructions on how to access and clear paper jams.
  • Gently remove any jammed paper. Make sure to remove all torn pieces of paper as well.

Check for foreign objects:

  • Inspect the paper path for any foreign objects such as paper clips, staples, or bits of paper that may be causing the jam.

Reload paper:

  • Ensure that the paper you are using is in good condition and is within the recommended specifications for your printer. Also, make sure the paper is loaded correctly in the tray.

Reset the printer:

  • After clearing the paper jam, turn the printer back on and check if the error persists. Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve the issue.

Update or reinstall printer drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the official HP website.

Perform a printer self-test:

  • Many printers have a self-test function that can help you identify and troubleshoot issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a self-test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
