HP Officejet Pro 8625 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 IOT

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8620 printer that keeps showing an error message saying I have a paper jam in the ADF. When this first appeared, I removed a paper jam from the Duplex feeder. Did not help. Have reset printer, did not help.

Hi @Michelle150,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand that you are facing a false paper jam issue with your Officejet 8620. I appreciate that you have already tried a few troubleshooting steps on your own.

So now please follow the below steps:

Clean the paper feed rollers in the ADF area.

Lift the top cover of the ADF. This provides easy access to the rollers and separator pad.

Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with distilled water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.

Press the cloth against the rollers, and then rotate them upward with your fingers. Apply a moderate amount of pressure to remove any dust or dirt buildup.

Allow the rollers to dry completely (approximately 10 minutes).

Close the ADF cover tightly at both ends.

Try to print. If the error persists, clean the rollers in another area of the printer. You may click here to open the complete document for reference

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
