paper jam

i keep getting an error message with paper print jam, while i have cleaned all paper paths front & rear, i have restarted/rebooted the printer. it looks like a fictitious paper jam, like a ghost…

Even the smallest bit of paper or a sticky sensor flag can cause this issue. Recheck the paper path closely, especially around the pickup roller as it is easy to miss a small bit of paper. If you power off the machine does the error show as soon as you turn it on or do you have to try to print first to have the error show up? If it restarts to ready, try printing from the MP tray  (Tray 1), if you can print from there but not the paper tray then you know that the issue is somewhere in the tray 2 area.
