Paper does not exit - when pulled out it is folded like an accordian

Where is it jamming? Are you pulling the jam out from the output tray or opening the back door? A picture of how the paper is jammed might help identify the issue for you.

The paper barely exits the output slot.  Attached is a photo of what  the "printed page" looks like.

I did not get to attach the photo. This is what happens with my paper jam issue. This is what happens with my paper jam issue.

To confirm: The paper is sticking out of the output but jammed up or is it removed from the back. Has the paper gone through the fuser? If it has gone through then it is quite likely one of the guides in the exit assembly is dislodged and stopping paper movement and you need to determine if it is dislodged and can be put back into position.

If the paper is not even entering the fuser and you are removing the paper from the back then it is quite possible that you have a fuser wrap jam and there is a piece of paper wrapped around the fuser. This can be almost impossible to see on this model due to the design but look close with a flashlight through the hole in the center of the back with the door open and you might be able to determine if there is paper there. If there is, complete disassembly is required to remove the fuser to safely remove the jam. I will note that about 75% of the time this jam occurs due to a fuser failure and just removing the jam will not restore your printer to working order.

Yes - I believe this is the proper diagnosis.  Can you provide any information on how I access the guides in the exit assemmbly?

The best video I could find to show fuser removal is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7T9n1lY_bg

It's not the fuser.  The pages get printed.  I believe the problem is due to the "guides" as you referred to them.  The paper doesn't travel smoothly to the exit.

I understand, but to access the guides to reseat them you will likely need to remove the fuser as it is right against the output assembly.
