print on 3" X 5" paper on Envy 7644

The paper guides on the Envy 7644 do not close to 3" x 5" but the paper handling spec says 3 x 5" ADF. How do you load and print on it?

@mel423

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

That is meant for the Document Feeder. Try copying/scanning from the Feeder with this size.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

So what you are saying is that you can print from an index card (document feeder) but you cannot print ON an index card?

@mel423

Cards can be printer only from the input tray.

ADF is not meant for printing cards.

You can refer this printer specifications for more assistance:- Click here

Let me know if that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Yes, it appears that the paper tray will not handle a  3" x 5" card or photo paper or plain paper. I think this is bad given that it is sold as a printer that can be used for printing photos.

Nope, this is not acceptable as an answer. It should not be sold as an all in one printer if it can not handle printing on 3" x 5" photo paper, which is a common photo size.
