I am trying to make my own greeting cards, but the printer won't take the card for printing - i have changed all settings that i can think of, the printer kicks into action but doesn't take the card, i have tried singular card and multiple cards, they are about postcard thickness - this is driving me mad - can someone please help.

If your printer is a couple of years old it may be that the rollers are slippery from paper dust or other debris. Try cleaning the rollers with a damp lint free cloth. Or the surface of the paper might be too slippery to feed properly.
