printer wont print on card

Hello

I can't get my printer to print on card- not heavy card just the type you would use for greetings cards. I generally use A5 matt card

Every time I try and print, the card just gets stuck. I am using the paper tray for this task as Im not sure how to feed card using the document feeder.

I bought this printer specifically for printing out cards so Im hoping someone will be able to help me with this.
