Hi @Redfox58,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e is consistently crumpling pages when you try to print, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some common troubleshooting steps to help you identify and resolve the problem.

  • Check Paper Quality: Ensure that you are using high-quality, undamaged paper. Poor-quality or damaged paper can cause jams and crumpling.
  • Verify Paper Type and Size Settings: Make sure that the paper type and size settings on the printer match the type and size of the paper loaded in the tray. Incorrect settings may lead to paper-handling issues.
  • Inspect Paper Path: Check for any obstructions in the paper path. Open the printer cover and look for any torn pieces of paper, foreign objects, or debris that might be causing the crumpling.
  • Adjust Paper Guides: Ensure that the paper guides in the input tray are set to the correct position for the paper size you are using. Misaligned guides can cause paper misfeeds.
  • Check for Bent or Damaged Rollers: Inspect the rollers in the printer for any signs of damage or deformation. If you find any issues, consider cleaning or replacing the rollers.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Upgrading the firmware can resolve certain performance issues.
  • Use Supported Paper: Make sure you are using paper that is supported by the printer. Refer to the printer's manual for a list of recommended paper types.
  • Print a Test Page: Print a test page to see if the issue persists. This can help you determine whether the problem is specific to certain documents or if it occurs with all print jobs.
  • Check for Software Issues: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause printing problems. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

By systematically going through these steps, you should be able to identify and address the cause of the crumpling pages in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
