There are 5-6 hp cp1215 model printers in the company I work for. I could not find the Windows 11 drivers on the support portal. Can you help me with this?

@Emre441, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP CP1215 Printer Drivers for Windows 11!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Unfortunately, HP does not have a specific driver for Windows 11 for the HP CP1215 printer on their support portal. However, you can try the following methods to use your printer with Windows 11:

Use Windows 10 Drivers: Sometimes, drivers for Windows 10 can work with Windows 11. You can download the Windows 10 driver from the HP support site and see if it resolves the issue.

Windows Update: Windows Update might automatically find and install a compatible driver for you.

  • Connect your printer to the computer.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  • If a compatible driver is found, it will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Generic or Universal Drivers:

  • Sometimes, using a generic printing driver provided by Windows can also work.
  • Add a new printer and select "The printer that I want isn’t listed".
  • Choose "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings".
  • Select “Use an existing port” and use the drop-down menu to select your printer’s port.
  • Click on "Next" and then select “Windows Update” to download and install additional printer drivers from the internet.
  • Choose the closest generic or universal driver available (HP Color LaserJet) and follow the prompts to install it.

HP Universal Print Driver (UPD):

  • HP Universal Print Driver might be a viable alternative if no specific driver is available.
  • Download it from the HP Universal Print Driver page.
  • Follow the installation instructions to set up the printer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
