MY HP 3755 would not work because it needed a 2.4 Ghz WIFI and my WIFI is 5.0.Is this standard for all HP Printers

No, many HP new generation printers support dual bands but many HP older printers only support 2.4GHz networks. At the mean time, you can simply allow your wifi router to broadcast BOTH bands until you get/buy a new printer. Your existing printer will "see" 2.4GHz network and allow you to connect.

I decided to return this printer and buy one of the newer models ,HP 2755,which was cheaper than the HP 3755
