7855 no start up cartridge

HP Recommended
HP Envy 7855

I bought the HP Envy 7855 for my daughter at Best Buy.  It did not come with any start up cartridges......  We purchased the new cartridges and get the following on the screen:  Use SETUP cartridges that came with your printer.

Best BUY won't let me return it bc its been more than 14 days since purchase.

Surely there is some way to bypass this so she can start using the printer.

So frustrating please help!
