Hi @Ruben46,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To set up your HP Envy 6255 printer on your new MacBook Pro, follow these steps.

Connect the Printer to Your Wi-Fi Network:

  • Using the Printer's Control Panel:
    • On the printer's touchscreen, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings menu.
    • Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Add the Printer to Your Mac:

  • On Your Mac:
    • Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of the screen and select System Settings (or System Preferences).
    • Click on Printers & Scanners.
    • Click the '+' button below the list of printers to add a new printer.
    • In the list of available printers, select your HP Envy 6255.
    • Ensure that the Use or Print Using field is set to AirPrint or the appropriate HP driver.
    • Click Add to complete the setup.

Install HP Smart App (Optional):

  • For additional features and printer management, you can install the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store.
  • Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
