Hi @Ruben46,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To set up your HP Envy 6255 printer on your new MacBook Pro, follow these steps.
Connect the Printer to Your Wi-Fi Network:
- Using the Printer's Control Panel:
- On the printer's touchscreen, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings menu.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Add the Printer to Your Mac:
- On Your Mac:
- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of the screen and select System Settings (or System Preferences).
- Click on Printers & Scanners.
- Click the '+' button below the list of printers to add a new printer.
- In the list of available printers, select your HP Envy 6255.
- Ensure that the Use or Print Using field is set to AirPrint or the appropriate HP driver.
- Click Add to complete the setup.
Install HP Smart App (Optional):
- For additional features and printer management, you can install the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
