Whenever I switch to print something in Grayscale it won't change back to color.    If it's an adobe document it shows color but prints grayscale.  If it's an e-mail I change to color and then reverts back to monochrome.   The last time I uninstalled /reinstalled the drivers etc and it was 'fixed'.. I thought.. until the next time I changed to Grayscale again.   I don't understand why this has to be done every time I switch to print in Grayscale this shouldn't be and why does this problem exist?  I'm using a new Dell computer and using Windows 10.  Thank you.

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.
