Resolve Windows 10 related issues for your HP computers or printers by HP Windows 10 Support Center
My office jet printer is recognized as online but will not print. This occurred all of a sudden. I use the USB cable as a connection NOT the net.

To better assist you - Is there antivirus software installed on your computer? If yes, please try disabling it and check if it works.
Meanwhile, Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to check connectivity
Download a special version of HP Print and Scan Doctor specifically created to help with printer offline conditions.
If the device is not detected, it may not be receiving enough power or it may be blocked by internet security software. You may also try other ports on the hub or a different cable.
