HP LaserJet Pro 200 color m251nw: firmware date code 20150212 (most recent)

I tap the "Apps" icon on the homescreen on the printer panel.

I get a message: "Enable Web Services." Tap OK to proceed.

I tap OK.

I get "Internal Processing Error."

Up to last month, I used the Calendar feature under the Apps menu to print plain calendars directly from the printer, without any problems. Today, I tried to do the same (press "Apps") but am forced to "enable Web Services" (which I had enabled since I got the printer in 2013, so I don't know why it suddenly isn't enabled), and it doesn't work.

Anyone have a fix?

It didn't work: I still get the response "Internal processing error. Retry your last selection. If the problem continues, check for firmware updates."

The firmware is up-to-date (2015-02-12), and the HP Scan Doctor provides no solution. I have gone through the steps provided in the linked page, with no success.

Is your reply supposed to be a joke? "Turn on Web Services"??? Seriously?

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.
