I am trying to resurrect a printer (our family's ENVY Photo 7858) in the USA but I do not have setup cartridges anymore.  However, it is asking me to use the SETUP cartridges that came with the printer and I can't get past that screen in order to set up the printer.  I have purchased the correct cartridges (64 BW and Color) and they are installed but this technicality is driving me nuts because there is no OOBE reset in the support menu like many of HP's other printers.  Please help me!!

Welcome to HP Support Community! 

  

To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer. 

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
